I am sure most of the times letters coming in tend to focus on the negative. Today I would like to share the positive. I have been through the moving process now 4 times. It is hard to meet my expectations of performance. Ask any of my 600+ Employees. What is even more difficult is to meet my and members of my families expectations to things that impact our family. The first item I would like to address started when I asked the crew to be mindful of my daughters sensitivities to sound. The entire group of men were amazingly compliant. My daughter told me to make sure they know that their quietness and care were very much appreciated. Thank you. Care of our property. I never had to question them on how to handle our possessions. Thank you. There was no rummaging through our possessions just picking up and loading. They were focused on the task. Professionalism, there was no whining as to how many or how heavy especially as the heat of the day kicked in. Only please, thank you and yes and no sir, no slang and cussing used. Your two drivers and leaders are very much positive assets to your company. The helpers in Hoover were solid as well. My family on the receiving end who can be tougher than I had nothing but positive comments on Drew and Bret. You have two really good men. You better hope I never open a Birmingham warehouse because I will steal these guys away from you. Thanks. It was worth the few extra dollars it cost versus the other quotes.

3 men and a truck arrived prompt and got directly to work. The team did an absolutely great job with my high value items such a bone china from Asia. As I unwrapped I felt sure that nothing would be damaged. The work consistently to get me loaded and unloaded and furniture set back up at the other end. The cost is right and the service was great.

Moves are no fun, but this one was as good as it could possibly have been due to the professional way it was handled by Changing Spaces, Inc. employees. It took three days to relocate all of our furniture, etc. to our new home five hours away.  From the very first point of contact, we could not have asked for a better experience.

Of particular mention are the three young men who drove the trucks, loaded and unloaded during the entire three day process. Drue, Eric and Justin are to be complimented on handling everything in a courteous, professional manner.  Any request that we had was met with smile and a can do attitude.  Not easy to do in 95 degree heat.  Also not easy to do when we discovered that our new driveway was too steep to back the main truck into – requiring that items be transferred from the main truck to another at street level and shuttled up the hill (including a baby grand piano).  We have now unloaded/unwrapped all items and haven’t found a single thing that was damaged or misplaced.  They took great care when loading (at two separate locations) and unloading the trucks and it shows. Many thanks to Drue, Eric and Justin and the two other young men who joined them for the unload, Robert and Simmons, as well as the other Changing Spaces, Inc. employees we came into contact with during the process.  Best moving experience ever.  We hope we don’t have to move again, but if we do, Changing Spaces, Inc. will definitely be handling our move.

This is my fourth move in 15 years, second in 9 months. These movers were excellent. Brian, James and Justin arrived 15 minutes early. They had my boxes etc. completely moved in 4 hours. To be fair, I had met with the owner during the estimate and he advised me that the more organized I was, the more efficient the movers would be. I took the owner’s advice and I think that helped make the move smoother. These movers were hard workers and never stopped. They work well together and have a fun sense of humor. FIRST MOVE EVER WHERE NOTHING WAS BROKEN!!!!!!!!! They took particular care of my big screen TV and my daughter’s piano. These guys went above and beyond. Brian noticed that the previous movers had used the wrong screws when the assembled my Ping-Pong table. He showed me the correct one and the wrong ones (which were too long and if he had folded the table without checking, would have punctured the surface of the table). Brian took all of the wrong screws out and worked on other items while I ran to the store and picked up the correct screws. Then, he assembled the Ping-Pong table with the correct hardware. James and Justin made sure the appliances were all connected and running. This is one of the most professional crews with which I have worked. There were no surprises, no hidden costs.

Changing Spaces was a little more expensive, not much but some, than the other companies I quoted. That said – I would NEVER use another company to move my home ever again as long as they were in the area! And neither should you if you want the thing done right and with care for your things. There are not enough stars or number high enough to give them the rating of excellence they deserve!

The crew arrived very promptly and never stopped running from the moment they arrived! Seriously, running…..well except when they were carrying heavy items and furniture. When you are quoted by the hour – and most moving companies do quote this way nowadays – you can have concern about “lag” time. These guys dropped off their box or item (in the truck or in the house on the other side) and ran back for more. With a GREAT attitude! Their professionalism is off the charts and they were nice gentlemen too! When I told them they did not have to run, they just said “we like it”.

I had a couple of items I was nervous about moving, explained it to them and they certainly took great care in moving those things.

I was within my budget, within my quoted time (they take a lot of time on the phone in getting you an estimate to get as close as possible) and very pleased with the whole move experience. Be sure when you call to try to give as much detail as to what you have to move (number of boxes is always a hard one) to help them quote.

Changing Spaces moved a large portion of my furniture to a country home about an hour away. I had decided that I would save money by packing myself and moving smaller objects weekly because I had so much……so the movers had to separate and move only certain items in each room. They then transported the furniture to the country house and put everything together and arranged it how I asked.

If I could do it over I would have had Changing Spaces pack and move everything. I grew up in a military family so I moved every 1.5 or 2 years….and I can still say that they are the best movers I have ever experienced. By the time the move was finished I was almost ready to adopt the polite, friendly, careful, concerned guys! Seriously, it was a wonderful experience and the only thing I would have done differently is, as I said, to have used them to pack and move everything rather than a partial move.

I have moved several times, both long distance and local, and I have by far had the best experience with Changing Spaces. My movers, Eric and Keith, were professional, courteous and extremely efficient. We moved from a 3 bedroom ranch home to a 4 bedroom home with lots of stairs. We thought our move was going to take at least 12 hours, but these guys were fast, careful and completed the entire move in 7 hours. They also disassembled and reassembled beds and furniture quickly.

I did a lot of research with moving companies and asked a ton of questions before I hired Changing Spaces.  I was worried about “unforeseen charges”. Changing Spaces was completely honest with me. I was impressed that they didn’t charge for flat screen TVs or fuel costs, like a bunch of other companies I contacted. If you need a moving company, I would highly recommend these guys.

The CSMI team was courteous, professional, and efficient from the beginning through the end of my 650 mile move. From writing the initial estimate to unloading the last box, CSMI was a pleasure to work with.

From the first call to the company to the end of my move, this company was informative and professional. I did not receive any run around, excuses or extra costs after the job was completed. The young men were courteous and respectful of my belongings. I hope to never move again, but if I do, I would definitely use them again. I highly recommend this company.

I hate to move however Changing Spaces makes a dreaded situation enjoyable. I have used this company my last 4 moves and have been impressed with the fact not once has an item been damaged in anyway. I will always use and recommend Changing Spaces as they are second to none.

Changing Spaces Moving were very timely and courteous. The move was on time and satisfactory. No damage and had a good day with the move. The move was from out of state to Houston, Texas. The people were friendly. I recommend them to anyone who wants to move interstate.

This is the second move that Changing Spaces has performed for us. Each time they were so kind, professional, and patient. And it’s not just the movers that make it so special. The office staff guides you along the way providing options that will make the move smoother and faster (who else is concerned about you not having to pay for downtime while you can’t use the elevators at the retirement homes?)
I sincerely hope that I don’t have to use Changing Spaces for a third time, but I guarantee that if I did have to plan another move, they would get the phone call!

Changing Spaces was a terrific moving decision. I have moved just shy of 20 times and this was by far the best experience. The movers were extremely professional, friendly, and worked diligently. They moved all of my items, set up beds, furniture and washer and dryer and did it all as quickly as possible. They also did all of this for a reasonable price! I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them in the future!

Changing Spaces Moving was on time and used their time wisely. They bill by the hour, but are quick workers. They really were professional and knew what they were doing. I had a grandfather clock, piano and a few antiques and they did a great job with them.

The movers showed up on time. They began loading our boxes and all of our stuff. What I was most impressed with is that these guys were young and they hustled the entire time. They literally even jogged at times back into the house to get more boxes. They were very respectful, educated young men. I have heard horror stories about moving, but Changing Spaces made this day as stress free as possible! I was not disappointed in any way with their performance. I would highly recommend them!
